eTEST
Privacy Policy
How eTEST collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data.
Last updated:
Scope and responsibility
This Policy explains how eTEST handles personal data when you use etest.quest, create an account, take a test, make a purchase, or contact support. eTEST is responsible for the processing described here.
Data we collect
We may receive your name, email address, avatar, and account identifiers from Google sign-in; messages you send to support; purchase status from a payment provider; and technical data such as IP address, browser, device, and request logs. Test answers and calculated results stay in your browser unless the service clearly asks to save or send them.
How and why we use data
We use data to create and secure accounts, provide tests and paid features, process purchases, answer support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, improve reliability, and comply with law. Depending on the situation, processing is based on performing our contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or your consent.
Cookies and local storage
We use an essential httpOnly refresh cookie to keep you signed in and local storage to remember your language. Access tokens are kept in memory. Google, Firebase, and a payment provider may use technologies needed to provide their services. When we run advertising, Google Ads sets cookies to measure which ads lead to a purchase. We also use local storage to remember your theme preference.
Sharing with others
We may share only the data needed with service providers such as Google/Firebase, hosting and infrastructure providers, and payment processors, or when required by law or a business transfer. They process data under their own terms or our instructions. We do not sell or rent personal data.
Retention, security, and transfers
We keep account data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Session tokens expire or are revoked; support, transaction, and security records may be kept as required by law or to resolve disputes. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service is risk-free. Providers may process data in other countries with safeguards required by applicable law.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, withdraw consent, and complain to a data protection authority. To submit a request or delete your account, contact us from the email linked to it. We may verify your identity and retain records that law requires.
Children, changes, and contact
eTEST is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to data processing. Where required, a parent or guardian must authorize use. Contact us if you believe a child provided data without valid permission. We may update this Policy and will announce material changes on the site or by email. Privacy questions can be sent to:
