About the career test
A career interest test asks what kind of work you enjoy, not what you are good at. There is no exam and no right answer: you say how much each of 50 statements sounds like you, and the answers add up to a profile.
The profile covers six themes: practical and hands-on, analysis and research, creativity and expression, helping and teaching, leadership and influence, and structure and organisation. Each gets a score out of 100, and the three strongest form a short code such as IAS.
This reflects the work you said you prefer. It does not measure ability, promise success in any job, or replace your own research and a conversation with someone who knows the field.
Say how much each one sounds like you.
There is no timer, and you can go back.
Six themes with scores and a three-letter code.
Your top three come with example areas to read up on.
No test can answer that on its own. What this one gives you is the shape of your interests across six themes, which narrows the search and tells you where to read further.
All six themes ranked, with a score out of 100 for each, a short description per theme, a three-letter code from your top three, and example fields for those three.
No. It does not print a list of job titles and it does not decide anything for you. It describes preferences, and the choice stays yours.
Yes. It is not only for students. If you are considering a change, the profile shows which parts of your current work you are likely to miss and which you are not.
There is no time limit. The test has 50 statements and you answer at your own pace.
Taking the test is free. The full report opens after payment.
